About the Pastor's Desk
Perspectives of a Pastor
Steve is the Lead Pastor of The Mill Mississauga and serves as the church-planting overseer for Grace Community Church in Grassie, Ontario. With more than twenty-five years of ministry experience, he has served Christ in a variety of contexts, including as a missionary, street evangelist, lay elder, and pastor. These diverse experiences have shaped a ministry marked by biblical conviction, practical wisdom, and a deep commitment to the local church.
Before entering full-time pastoral ministry, Steve also served in law enforcement, an experience that strengthened his passion for truth, integrity, servant leadership, and compassionate care for people from all walks of life. Steve earned his Master of Divinity from Tyndale Seminary and is currently a Doctor of Ministry candidate at The Master's Seminary in Los Angeles, where his research focuses on biblical theology of Yahweh's creation, which sets the moral compass for humanity's purpose, order, and function.
His writing seeks to bridge careful biblical scholarship with practical application, equipping pastors, ministry leaders, and everyday Christians to think deeply, live faithfully, and serve effectively. Steve has been married to his wife, Christine, for 25 years, and together they are blessed with four children. They are passionate about seeing healthy churches planted, believers equipped for faithful service, and the gospel proclaimed with both conviction and compassion.
